"I remember back in my day, if a boy had a big donk, he'd rock those short-ass, donk-shorts with the best of'em. Proudly! Nowadays? These youngins are wearing skirts and dresses! Come on boys! Show off what Allah gave you!" - Oscar Robertson

oscar played in an era when teams took 20 more shots per game than today.
Wasn't really talking about his Era. More or so 90s.i just agreed on certain things....

But you know how it is. Old nikkas don't like that new money... They feel their entitled to it...

Nah he has a valid point. Much as I do like this Era of players I think they're soft as baby shyt. And the game is focused on more offense than defense.

Back in Harlem Al's day they used to use used cadillac rims for hoops.

Harlem Al used to drink his milk faster when he was a toddler so he could hang a case at the proiject lobby and hoop

In my days we played through anything, I remember ol connie dierking would have dialysis at half time and be ready for the start of the fourth quarter.

Kids these days, get a big lead and they just want to ice their legs. And laugh like schoolgirls on the bench, not us

Oscar: ":birdman:These dumb coaches and players can't stop Golden State. We wouldn't let teams continue to dominate. We made real adjustments."

Millennial: "Oscar, I did a little research on my phone. Didn't the celtics win 10 championships during your career?:youngsabo:"

Oscar: "Yeah. But we lost so these guys today could win"

Older generation people make any kind of excuse possible :francis:
Every era will have flaws but everything older isn't better like y'all try to make it seem :comeon:
Older eras wasn't even making basketball plays :martin:
Throwing punches and elbows at somebody driving the lane is dumb. People are trying to watch basketball not MMA :camby:
