It's actually the EXACT opposite in this context. It's more a narrower perspective because past generations aren't too willing to accept change as being [potentially] better. *cues @gator_king and Generation Gay Marriage*. Unless basketball turns into some futuristic sport which strips it from all its human elements, players of today aren't going to be on their "well, back in my day" shyt - 20, 30 years down the line.
