Damon is the funniest out of all the Wayans brothers to me. "My Wife & Kids" was a super underrated sitcom.I never thought Marlon was funny but his standup on Will and Jada was hilarious and better than Chris Rocks standup on the same topic.
Naw, he killed in All About The Benjamins, Roscoe Jenkins, and How High.Unpopular opinion, he was only funny in the Friday series, and he STILL wasn’t fukking with Chris Tucker AT ALL.
Never seen a special but he's a funny comedic actor so that's probably why he will always have a fanbase that will go to his shows.
I feel this way with Marlon Wayans. He is not a funny stand up IMO but he has a loyal fanbase from his movies so they will support.
He's mid and so is Next FridayThe original shyts all over it.
Mike Epps is what I call "movie funny". He's not "stand-up funny" to me.
A solid comedian should be able to make you laugh as hard on stage as they do on screen.
The only special of his that I watched was sometime between 2008 and 2010 when it had recently come out during the time. Didn't laugh once, cut it off after about 20 mins.
Same thing with Martin Lawrence. As a kid I thought he was hilarious in "Big Momma's House", so I decided to watch an old special of his from the late nineties on YouTube back in 2013 out of curiosity.
After roughly 15 minutes of watching him run around and scream in a gaudy, neon-colored shirt, I literally cringed and closed the tab.
I mean I LITERALLY looked at the screen like ""
shyt was terrible

The only joke if u put a gun to my head that I can recite. It’s the Michael Jackson going to prison and running it. thats a cheat code. MJ doing gangster shyt will forever not be funny
Yeah I remember being hyped to see Run tell Dat. It was no good whatsoever his comedy style didn't age well. But he's still "Knighted" from the Martin show. You So Crazy was goated but after that everyrhing was![]()
I used to quote All About the Benjamin's like my life depended on it![]()
