1)In what year would Ali vs Tyson have been an even matchup?

2)In what year would PBF vs SRL been a good fight?

3)When would B-Hop have finally given Marvelous Marvin Hagler a run for his money?

4)What about Trevor Berbick vs Lennox Lewis?

5)Joe Louis vs Cassius Clay?

6):flabbynsick: vs Vladimir Klitschko

Wasn't Ali done fighting by like '81 (and :flabbynsick: some time before that too)? On an unrelated note, it is a God damned shame that Ali had three prime years taken away from him.

Tyson had just started his amateur career by '81 in the Junior Olympics and didn't start his pro career until '85. The window for them to have actually fought was basically closed in real life.

Hypothetically, the version of Muhammad Ali that could drag fights out forever would hold the edge (like late-60s). While younger Ali was the more physically gifted version of himself, Tyson wanted a quicker fight anyway. Depends on quite a bit I guess.

You are missing some years.. I feel like 1969-70 was his prime
But Tyson was a toddler at the time.

I'm talking in what year can u get the actual Ali and Mike in the ring and it wouldn't be a wipeout.

Oh look, another thread where people act like Mike Tyson was just a brawler with no skills.

:russell:

What would hurt Mike the most isn't Ali's boxing. It's going 15 rounds.

But y'all really need to start giving :flabbynsick: more credit because Prime Holmes might have given Prime Ali that work.

Muhammad Ali last fought in 1981 at 39 years old....1 month & 6 days before turning 40.

Mike Tyson didn't make his debut until 4 years later in 1985 when he was 18 years old.

There was never any point in time where Ali vs Tyson could've happened or been a good fight.

Mike Tyson was still losing to Amateurs in 1983....even against a washed up Ali, he would've been outclassed because the steep rise in competition would be too much for a 17 year old who wasn't even close to being the best amateur fighter in the US at that time of his life.
