I have changed my stance on this. I used to be a firm believer that Tyson in his prime was absolutely unbeatable, but I think 3 boxers would have beaten Mike in his prime.

Ali, Foreman and Holyfield.

Muhammad Ali last fought in 1981 at 39 years old....1 month & 6 days before turning 40.

Mike Tyson didn't make his debut until 4 years later in 1985 when he was 18 years old.

There was never any point in time where Ali vs Tyson could've happened or been a good fight.
Obviously it couldn't have happened because Ali wasn't willing to fight post retirement. We're talking hypothetically here. In a fantasy world where Ali does come out of retirement for 1 fight vs young Tyson.

Why do u say it would never have been a good fight. So you're saying it'd be a 1 rd KO either way every time
1977 I have to say.
11 year old Mike goes the distance vs 35 yr old Ali ?

There's no such thing as fantasies when it comes to Boxing breh. How can I imagine something when the age gap is 25 years in between the 2 of them?

You already tossed out prime vs prime matchups, so what matchup are you looking for? There is no way for them to have had a "good" fight. Even at 18 when Tyson debuted, Muhammad Ali was already 43 years old and had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease the year prior.

No way a good fight could ever been accomplished between them.

If they were both in their prime 1977 would be the year.
