Van Jones had a segment on his show where he would ride in a van, and have a conversation with two opposing views. Any time he had a black person, it was usually a minister, or “activist”. You’re putting a black local activist with no money into a conversation with a white engineer. They couldn’t find a black professional?

I’d like to think the black professionals just have no interest in being used as tokens, but the media really thinks we listen to whatever someone else tells us, as if we can’t think for ourselves.

• I feel like many of us are unmotivated and mentally defeated
• I feel as though we put too much energy in being entertained and "feeling good", rather building and preparing for the future.
• No Urgency , No 'Killer Instinct'
