This was funny. I don’t care if you engage with the crowd as long as i’m laughing. Thats the point of stand up comedy, to make the people LAUGH.

No he didn't. Saw him in 2003 at UMBC and he was doing that.

Crowd work is just an easy type of content for a comic to post online without burning actual material that they use to perform in clubs and make a living. Pretty much any comic trying to establish an online presence/community will do it.

I wouldn't use crowd work clips as an indicator of whether a comic is good or not, to be fair.
