He appeared to be hosting that night. There should be footage of him addressing it on stage. If he's an Asian doing comedy, he surely encountered hecklers or anti Asian comments before. If he didn't want to be confrontational about the topic, he could have used humor.

Because we are being painted as the aggressors towards Asian people and they have endless smoke for us but it's crickets when it comes to the people actually abusing them at high rates. In this thread you're seeing a microcosm of something that is happening across the country, namely blatant racism towards Asian people from whites followed by reluctance or outright refusal for them to hold white people accountable and demand restitution.

Its incredibly insulting and revolting to watch people who have benefited from the gains of civil rights movements and black people putting their lives on the line not only ignoring our struggle, but mobilizing against us while propping up the same people who abuse both of us.

This shyt should hit you personally especially given that they are in the top 3 high earning groups in the US and are actually a privileged group of people that can make your life a living hell if white people accept them fully into their ranks.
