Age of Apocalypse was a measuring stick storyline. It was legendary. Infinity Gauntlet..the original saga was great. House of M changed everything for 8 years basically.

Planet X was horrible because Morrison was making a mockery of the Magneto character and then tried to kill him off for good. Basically spat in Chris Claremont's face...had Magneto, of all people, a geneticist genius taking a drug to enhance himself and even before that had him hiding amongst the team...the proudest mutant in history hiding amongst X men just to get a surprise advantage ? Ridiculous. Stupid. Morrison proved he was a hack by the end of his New X Men run.
