Comics, Manga, Anime, Graphic Novels... How'd you get started..

Comics - got hooked when I was a little kid, maybe 7-8 yrs old..pretty much discovered them on my own after I got bored with my dad at a bookstore one day. Amazing Spider-Man was my shyt and X-men then Detective Comics (Batman). After that I knew one day I'd draw my own comics.
Anime - I think Voltron and Speed Racer were the first anime I ever saw...didn't know it was anime though. Then Akira next, Wicked City and then DBZ when it hit the states big in the 90s/early 2000s. I really got into with DBZ.
Manga - Didn't know manga existed until late 2008-2009 while lurking on
and dudes was talking about Naruto, Bleach, OP, etc. Naruto was the first I read and I was instantly hooked. Bleach came next and then OP. I hated OP at first then I gave it another try a year later and now its the greatest ever.

Never been that deep into comics or graphic novels.
I been an anime head all my life. Toonami introduced anime to so many. I only got into manga a couple years ago though.
