my dad blames obama far more often than he should but hes also republican so its hard to tell. my mom and i clown him by saying stuff like "oh you have a sore throat today? gotta be obamas fault" "hey pops its cold outside, too bad obama has tried to address global warming". other than that i dont really hear anything too suspect..probably because my mother wasnt born in america and both of my dads parents came from oppressive regimes. also..i grew up and live in a town that was historically very progressive and was one of the earliest and largest established stops on the underground rail-road. we all learned about the amistad incredibly young (i believe we housed the defendants and funded them if they chose to return back to africa) and went on field trips to see some of the landmarks...ive seen rooms/tunnels used during that time period and markings still on the walls and shyt...so maybe my area is a bit of an outlier

hes not hardcore. maybe somethin to do with him being a vietnam vet and thinking the libs are soft. idk. he went to BU and got his degree but volunteered anyway so he probably thought the protestors then were soft too. other than that? taxes i guess.
