watched this twice last night.. this ppv is a 3/10.
3 based on Taker showing up... just a 3 because the entire show sucked and nothing made any fukking sense. what a waste of time.

The current plan is for WWE to continue the Bray Wyatt/Roman Reigns feud at Summerslam with a tag match of Roman Reigns & Sting vs Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Sting is expected to return and involve himself in the feud at some point.
WWE originally talked about having the entire Wyatt Family go against Sting, Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Since Erick Rowan is injured, they’ll either go with the tag match mentioned above or introduce a new Wyatt Family member.
WWE officials are said to be worried that Roman Reigns will get booed at Summerslam since the PPV happens in New York City. They’re concerned that Sting will get the cheers while Reigns will get booed.

No one was worried about the reactions Macho would get teaming with someone else back in the day....no one was worried about what reactions Austin and Rock would get when they teamed up in New York for that Cripple H return show in 2002...basically they had FAITH in their performers back then. Or should I say..they had REAL draws that fans paid money to see so you didn't have to trick them into "cheering" for anyone. They had that with Bryan recently and they used him to put over Brey Wyatt who was used to lose to Cena by that WM and buried all that Bryan did for that kid. It was insane booking then..it's insane booking now with the Owens stuff.
I thought it was a solid PPV.
Sheamus vs Orton = C Better than I expected at the end but the beginning was
Tag Team Title Match = A- Great chemistry and everyone looked great. Xavier was amazing in the background.
Wyatt vs. Reigns = B Like I expected a pretty good match and Wyatt finally got a win.
Divas Match = B+ Great match and it would have gotten an A- if Brie wasn't dragging them down and they had a better worker to replace her. Alicia would have been a much better choice.
Owens vs. Cena = D The match used the same damn spots from the other matches and the ending was awful. Plus the wrong guy won. I hope this is their last one on one match for a long time.
Rollins vs. Lesnar = N/A Hardly even a match.

Orton/Sheamus - F - Didnt care. They did it a 1000x in 09-10. Pointless build up to a stale RKO spot
Tag match - C - Ok match. I just dont care about this feud. They need more. I'm happy they are getting the time to shine on PPV though.
Wyatt/Reigns - C - Some ok spots...2 guys who bore the shyt out of me in the ring so it was hard to stay into this one
Divas - B Minus - Sloppy but fun match. I'm just glad to see the Divas division changing piece by piece
Owens/Cena - Before the ending of this match i woulda gave this a solid B. I enjoyed the match thoroughly..Even with the repeated spots. I've enjoyed their back and forth, but that match ending pretty much ruined the entire ppv for me. I wasnt interested in anything prior to this, then this made me not even anticipate the main event.
Seth/Brock - C - Good start but it ended way too quick and after Taker came out the show just ended...huge let down.
