Wait... hold on now.... I completely understand the plight of the nikka quarterback..... but I understand the degenerate white boy just as much....

Lamar Jackson is the nikka quarterback that crackas are uncomfortable with on an NFL level.... on a collegiate level he is praised because he is a tool for the honkey coach who is actually worshipped.....

Clean cut Jalen and the mulatto are easily digestible for general white consumption...... this shyt is a game.... pun intended.... don't know if I used that right but sitll

@Field Marshall Bradley is Russell Wilson also easily digestible for general white consumption?

Iggles vs Commanders & Chiefs vs Bills in the 2024 season =

Chargers vs Steelers & Cowboys vs Niners in the 1994 season

Only difference is the Eagles are actually capable of beating the AFC winner unlike that '94 Chargers squad vs either SF or Dal.

The NFL also has a viewership apocalypse on the horizon. These subsequent generations after Gen. X, and early Millenials are not as interested in the games like that. Plus with many multiple ways to watch games now it just doesn't translate into the ratings like they once did. Mark my word, we will start to see the same "Is the NFL dying articles in the coming years. But they are lucky that they so far ahead that the drop will be incremental, until it's not. They gotta get off contract talk. The masses don't wanna hear about these guys haggling over a millions. What kind of $$$ money they make shouldn't be what they lead with on Sportscenter. All these shows about their extravagant lifestyles these guys lead, or who they are dating or what purse they carry into games needs to cease. It makes the public at large resent these guys. It shouldn't but it does. Ppl compare their 80k a year jobs to ppm that make 8 million a year. There are many other factors, but if you understand how ppl have been conditioned in this country to "despise labor" and think asking for your actual worth is greedy entitlement. But then you look at the players flaunting their wealth in your face all day on social media. Now you have a problem with the players, the labor that's also the engine that drives the sport, being unlikable. Watch after these current TV deals expire, it's gonna be a sea change in how sports are delivered. Those multi multi billion dollar TV rights deals are gonna be few and far between

No one fukking cares. Ratings are for casuals

Imagine your kid asked you what was Barry sanders first playoff game like and you replied ‘well son the ratings weren’t too good’ :beli:

It’s annoying. I’m noticing the same with music. Nggas turning into A&R’s and marketing execs instead of actually enjoying the shyt

I think there’s enough of the Gen X to hold them down for at least another 10 years. I still believe football is a pastime for men born before 1990.

After that you are right, that GenA/Z consume media very different. It’s all discourse though. We won’t see a drop in production or consumption for another 20 years. 2050 will be the decade of “is the NFL is dead.” Or is the NFL too big because of teams in Mexico, Canada and Europe.

When is indoor football with smaller fields, pads, and helmets going to make a resurgence.

One could wonder if the double digit reduction in cable and better streaming capabilities reach the NFL as well. Or were the AFC games stable?
