I remember hearing the studio version of FOOD after they performed it on chapelle show. I was sooooo glad it didn’t make the album. The chapelle show version just had so much more energy than the studio version.

There’s something that hits me with The Food live compared to the album version.
Man, such a great album. I remember skipping class and buying this and Chapelle Show Season 2 at Best Buy since they came out at the same time.
I gotta be the only one that prefers the studio version of The Food and wish it was on the original album.

I mess with this song, but it definitely is a total departure from the other songs on Be. It actually sounds like it would’ve better fit on something that would’ve come out in 1998.
