An excellent album all the way through. Syd deserves much more critical acclaim. I love her voice on this and all The Internet's projects.
In my opinion, Common is my overall favorite rapper of all time. I'm from the Midwest (live in the Chi now) and he's our Nas and Jay-Z equivalent. I personally think his discography can go toe-to-toe with anyones.

I loved it from jump, but I've only heard it within the context of the album

May have heard it differently if I played it before checking the album

That's how I felt before, it's the only track I'd heard but then I thought I'd wait for the rest.

After a while those tracks fit in, Love Star is now fitting.

It's the Funky For You of this album imo.

Listening to this right now. I'm liking it. Common's rapping better on here than he was on his last couple projects.
