Yea the album is kind of flying under the radar which is sort of surprising seeing as Common has been performing and popping up to promote it.

I know he's got movies coming up and he's working on a television show but I hope he takes some time to tour the album, it really is the best of the year and unless Mos Def or J.Cole absolutely blow my socks off I'm thinking it'll stay that way

It's actually because Common's cornball happy jack voice is ill suited to spit urgency rhymes without sounding like a blade. He was the shyt when he was a style rapper flexing his wit and skill all over songs. Those days are looooooong gone but most of you are too young to know about his actual factual prime anyways. He's been wack for like 15 years at this point honestly.

Love Star ain't that special to me

Love Star is listenable :ehh:

I can fukk with love star. you already know common is gonna have one cheesy ass love song on his albums.

Love Star is starting to fit in now for me.

Literally EVERY SONG besides Love Star is 5/5

:dahell:

It's only the best song on the entire album. Funkiest beat on the album, hands down. I agree it's a bit cheesy, and Common is actually the worst part of the song. Mark my words - if anyone remembers anything about this album, it'll be Love Star. Coli ears :mjlol:

This album sucks, by the way. Should've known y'all would overrate the shyt out of it. shyt's not even a hip hop album. Drums so damn weak.

Just started listening, was a bit Meh till 'Love star':wow:

Not really feeling the title song, it's too messy, flow and beat

Love Star:noah:

:salute:

Do you like the album at all?

nah, bruh. I feel where @Big Mel is coming from. Common's making the kind of music I disliked him for in the first place, until I heard "6th Sense", "1999" then went back to check "Resurrection."

I fux with Thelonius/Nag Champa aka softer Common but even then, he sounded live-wire compared to the shyt he's been making for many years now.
