Common is 10 LP's deep. Let see if Drake gets there. Also like I said, the Diss wasn't for sales. Common has never been a big seller on the charts. He only has 3 Gold albums. His biggest solo single is "The Light" which came in at #44 and his biggest single is "Love of My Life" which was a Erykah Badu track. The diss was a response to "Stay Scheming". I think Drake finally made a reply to disses cause he got tired of getting called Soft or in this case Sweet. So he went on a hard track like "Stay Scheming" to finally strike back but he forgot Common battled a Legend like Cube. Common can get down when he wants to, people always mistake him for just a consious emcee but Common got some battle skills.

The only album that was "Soft" from Common was "Electric Circus" which was more of an experimental LP. Everything else was either Afro-centric or just some quality Hip Hop. His worst album was "Universal Mind Control" which was just a damn mess and the Neptunes shouldn't be producing an entire Common album again and I love the Neptunes but they don't mix well with Common over an entire album. But Like Water, Be, Finding Forever, One Day, Resurrection, Can I borrow, The dreamer" were all dope to near Classic to Classic to me.

From the start I fukked with Common in that battle. The ending of "Sweet" was extra vulgar It's just to many people are feeling that Stay Scheming verse, I don't get what was so special.
