I liked this album when it first dropped but as I've gotten older I appreciate it a lot more. Common was spitting and sonically Soulaquarians were on another level.

It is likely that Prince only plays on the 0:34 instrumental coda following the song itself, although this is not confirmed.
That might be Prince playing the coda on the outro of the song, damn sure sounds like a Prince beat

LWFC is 4/5 maybe 4.5/5 but is not a classic album sorry doesn't take away from it

Don’t know if this poster is still here but he deserves mad rep if he is. This album is sounding really good right now. I didn’t hate it too much back then but now it’s sounding really good.

Funny how much hate this album got back in the day, considering some of the stuff that gets praised as “artistic” today
Yeah. I truly believe if a current artist released this exact album today it would be considered a classic. We weren’t ready back then… that’s why you should release timeless music. Like I def liked a couple songs on it back then, but I think I was just mad because it wasn’t like water for chocolate or something lol.. plus people were clowning him when he was with Erykah. They brought it on this album though.
