no beef with either.. I just know I can name 50 rappers better than BG...
Master P is a tough one. He was lyrically shyt. I dont know if his music has aged well. I'd have to think about that...

this isnt a rippity-rap list tho. so master p is in my top 20. and his music has aged better than chaka khan.

50 rappers better than BG? i guarantee BG by the age of 19 already had a better catalog than at least about half of the names that you can come up with. bet on that playboi.

thats the song that really made me take notice of cash money.

and you know what? i always felt like "bout my paper" was even better than that song in the beats & lyrics departments.:whew:

well being in new orleans i saw the movement first hanf they used to sell they tapes at the local mom and pop shop all the time everybody they had they shyt but 400 degreez was what put them on the map back that azz up and ha as far as nationally.

@Wacky D yo what u think about b.g catalog i think he got one of the most underrated ever

yea, and the proof is in the pudding.

what he and cash money accomplished off the back of those albums is amazing. its criminal that he doesnt get half the credit he deserves. he just gets in-the-know props.

and yea juvi blew them up nationally, but that wouldnt have happened if BG didnt carry them to that point. they broke his little back and then kicked him to the curb.

yeah lyrically bg got them with chopper city but then juvi came in with the soulja rags album so i would say it was both.

One of the most skilled rappers ever. Poetic and introspective rapper but can be witty and always battle-ready. His rhymes had a lot of social and emotional depth. Crazy wordplay.

Great discography. "the Resurrection" and "be" were classics. "one day it will make sense" and "like water for chocolate" are close. impressive longevity.

thats why common is top 10-15 to me
