The live version is actually better imo. The studio version lacks the energy that the live version brings.

At least in my opinion.

The problem isn't with Common's lyrics or flow, I think he's pretty well in those areas. However, when we're concerning about his beats on this project alone, we gotta agree it's fukking trash. The best beats on this were "Love Is.." and "It's your world"... I was getting sick of Kanye's sampling and it just made the hooks pretty atrocious.

It's not a bad album by any means, just not that good.

the live version was the best version. it was live on the album cause he released like 4 other studio versions before the album release, and none of them had the same slap. slowed it down... nope. re-recorded... nope. sped up... nope. spit his verses on some spoken word shyt... nope.
