Community has some awful episodes. Lets be real, the christmas episodes were awful, both of em. Once you got beyond the animation, it was shyt. And once we got gifs of Annie dancing in a Santa suit, the fakkit ass Glee episode was rendered obselete. The Abed as Jesus episode, and a couple more are also terrible. Parks and Rec never had anything as overdone and stupid as Inspector Spacetime. It's the most consistant show on tv.

Disagree with much of this. The Abed Claymation episode is one of my favorites. In fact it's probably my favorite Christmas-related TV episode or movie ever. Community is hit or miss, but its misses (like the Glee and Video game episodes) are part of the reason why its has such a hardcore fanbase. It's the only show that's willing to take chances on wild format shifts like that.

i thought the glee episode was hilarious. troy and abed's rap and brainwashing pierce with that timeline song were classic. the claymation episode did not like. probably the only episode i never got through.

Parks is more consistent but to me Community has much higher highs so I went with Community.

off an eppy like crazy.the video game episode was a number im not even sure exists % better than the claymation episode.
that recent dreamatorium episode was garbage too. the whole dreamatorium angle was crap. the only real good episode featuring the apartment was the timeline one, which is overrated in the sense that people consider it the best ever. I like the episodes at Greendale best.
I think most people would still consider the first paintball ep to be the best one still. But the timeline episode was by far the best of this season.
Dudes in here talking about creative and all that is cool but what's funnier? I've never sat and watched an ep of P&R and not laughed all the way through, can't say the same with Community when sometimes it's more focused on being different than hilarious.

for me the best comedies out right now are parks and rec and happy endings. Those 2 shows will always get a laugh from me. Modern family is kinda funny but it gets corny to me after a while cuz they cant take things too far with the kids. Maybe if al bundy acted like he was still on married with children it would be the goat. Could you imagine how many gay jokes al bundy would come up with; especially since its his son.

it def stepped its game up the last 8 episodes. They need to get rid of that chick though; she gotta be the biggest weak link in a comedy. (outside of ted mosbey)
