Loved this. With just slightly better photography, and tightening some things up, tone down some of the broader satire/comedy, this would as good as Ex Machina. The movie I am describing is pretty much Ex Machina. But, I mean that as the highest possible praise.

but yeah, had I not known the twist, would have been stronger, even if it was telegraphed strongly from the opening lines.
