Both producers are innovators in their own sense and in their respective lanes.Zaytoven got mad fire with Gucci,and just 2 years ago didn't he make Versace w migos,that's a humongous record,and the beat made that song hot(oppinion,not fact).
I don't have to even say anything about Preemo,he has put in mad work,I''ll give it to you that Preemo is a bigger name in Hip Hop,but he's 25+ years deep in this shyt,Zay's a decade short of preem.Not to mention the south didn't get on until 2000s.

I like to go to places where people actually dance. and that's usually at spots that play 90s/early 2000s hip hop, RnB and dancehall. (Though I could do without the RnB and dancehall)
I was at a spot last weekend and they played that stuff. then switched to trap. and the vibe changed instantly. shyt got slower, people weren't really dancing but more bopping around. Getting drinks, taking selfies.
Trap is 99% grooveless. But let these cats tell it, and it's premium club music
