fukk gentrification but safer streets are not what has these new artists dress & rap the way they do. After all, they are wearing the same shyt & talking the same shyt the Chiraq wave is.

Sheepish mentality & the ease of influence the current generation is under is the culprit. Black people are not "cooler & better" because we grow up amongst violence breh.

I look back at Fort Greene Brooklyn now & I wish I had safe streets & better role models growing up in the early 90's, my brother would still be alive. I just wish those safe streets had black people populating it & black businesses instead of the Kansas & Oklahoma implants taking over.
