Curious but what wasn't so "fun" about Halo 4's MP??? I honestly thought it was fun but really what got me to stop playing was many factors such as sparse selection of maps, promising weapon balance updates that took way too long to come out all the while pumping out DLC and believe it or not but I despise games with loadouts..

Fun?

you think sprint in Halo is fun?

You think introducing a new mechanic to keep us stuck in zoom in Halo is fun?

You think armor abilities and perk like features that introduce randomness in Halo are fun?

You think having big ass fukking maps as the majority in Halo is fun?

343 knew exactly who they catered Halo 4 to...lmao

I didn't say anything about those things being fun for me. :what: where you get that??

Lol you got me confused dog. I said it was fun when I wasn't taking the game serious, I mean hearing that announcer say shyt and hearing loud explosions was fun but I didn't think it was best for the game. I was always under the impression that those type of playlists should be made available afterwards but these devs be wanting these casuals on board..

What made Halo 4 fun to you?...because I just named GAMEPLAY features. If you think sprint and staying in zoom are cool...don't even reply to me dawg...

I found Halo 4 fun when playing for "fun" as in not taking it serious. I always prefer to play without the fluff. The big maps getting most of the spotlight annoyed me as it felt like every 2,3 matches was either Haven or Complex.

I was one of the main advocates for adding in a hardcore playlist without all that extra shyt. I hate when I feel like I'm bested by someone because they got a better loadout than me. Also sprinting being a good or bad thing was debatable because at first it was slower to compensate for the sprint added but I know they updated the movement speed now but I agree, adding in mechanics that change the core of a game in later installments are a recipe for disaster because it creates a domino effect. You add in slower movements, you gotta add in either sprint and or make maps smaller which will affect how weapons are balanced because smaller maps would probably cause certain weapons to be tuned differently from earlier games.

There's nothing like "being in the zone" in a shooter and you're just dominating everyone. I've literally been banned from counter-strike servers because they were convinced I had an aimbot. Man, if competitive gaming was as entertaining as sports were :banderas: I coulda been a star brehs :to: imagine seeing your boy play some counter-strike matches on ESPN :banderas:

too many to mention but i have to say that "Jedi Academy" was the most amazing online gaming experience i have ever had.

yes, i know that the game is 10 years old but it did everything so well.
i cannot for the life of me understand why this series has fallen to the wayside and left to die.

used to play that online all the time. I specifically remember that Matrix map that they made. Pretty sure people still play it too.

i hopped online with it a couple of years ago and ran into 3 or 4 dudes who i used to play with 8 years ago.

they remembered me...:cmon:.

everyone stopped fighting and we chilled and chatted.
it was kinda surreal.

can't really explain how much that game means to me.

i might have to get back into it.

yeah, the social aspect of that game was really well done because a lot of servers were duel only, so when you weren't dueling you were chilling, trying to look like a badass and talking to people.

the etiquette that went into a duel match was unmatched.
i've never seen it equaled in a game since.

you HAD to bow before your opponent before the match started or else you got no respect.

Jedi Academy did everything right with the online gaming.
Left For Dead 2 is the only game that got me to play multi-player online like Academy did.

totally forgot about having to bow before the duel :heh:

whenever the person didn't bow they either hated you or were noobs, either way they were gonna get viciously sliced up :demonic:

I will always say social aspects to a game are way more critical to longevity and success. Star Wars Galaxies (I still remember 90% of the people that played on my star wars galaxies server..everyone knew everyone...it was incredible) survived for YEARS and YEARS after it became a terrible game simply because the social aspects were so marvelously done.

I never got into left for dead 2 but left for dead 1 was A LOT of fun.

Halo 3 is still in my mind, without a doubt, the GOAT Halo game...hmmm scratch that. H3 is the best FPS ever created taking in consideration the single and multiplayer and the story. I got to a lv 50 in that game. Lv 50s actually MEANT something. I hate how they destroyed the ranking system in Reach. I played Reach like crazy too. But was no where near as good as H3. H4, I hated. Just felt terrible, and different. Played it for about a month then sold it, including my 360. :smh:

I was heavy on Gears 1 and 2. The Gears series is the best TPS created.

Played COD on and off never really got into it.

BF I played for a while but never really got me hooked.

CS, played, never got serious.
