Sigh...it's like talking to brick wall
and Vice Versa but carry on..
Just because you can load up Halo 3 and hop in the MLG playlist does not mean you are skillful by any means. It also does not mean you playing the most competitive set of games available. What is your MLG rank in Halo 3? Also, unless you are playing team vs. team instead of random teammates vs. random teammates you arent playing the most competitive match possible. This is fukking common sense and anyone that plays high level Halo or any competitive shooter will tell you this.
You should've said that earlier. You were talking in a broad sense so it's easy for someone to interpret what you're saying differently from how you intended someone to take it.
I've played Halo with you. I would NEVER team with you because of your skill level, no disrespect...it is what it is. I know you've never played Halo at it's highest level or anywhere close to it. It's a different ball game when you have real teams going at it, not some fukk around matchmaking shyt.
I don't have the time to get that much work in.
Please stop this nonsense about playing the same settings as ppl at tournaments, that shyt is cool...but the experience is NOT THE SAME. Again, what is the highest rank you achieved in the MLG playlist? I'm asking because only at a certain level do you actually get real competitive matches and they still arent as competitive as getting two teams in a custom lobby going at it for an 11 game series.
Ahh so experience is what you're getting at. Cool.
I've met dudes like yo over the years playing Halo. They think they understand competitive halo because they can go in the playlist and play 10 games on their lvl 15 accounts and think they understand what it takes to be a good player or one who is successful competitively.
Debatable but I see what you saying.
Regarding the street fighter thing. I have SF4:AE....I suck at it, because I don't play fighters like that. I've played matchmaking which is similar to tournaments. That does not mean I understand competitive SF because I can played the same shyt they played. It's a lot deeper than playing the same settings and maps. I understand certain concepts and shyt, I actually tried to learn the game. It wasn't till I actually tried to learn competitive SF that I realized how much I did not know. The same thing goes for you and Halo (or any competitive game).
