When I bring up the homoeroticism, it is not just to go "nuh-uh, you're gay" it is to point out that there is a hypocrisy at play, that this surface level excess masculinity depends on a disavowed homoerotic underside. It is not a shaming tactic (although if you feel shame as a result of it, that's on you).

You can do whatever you like on an individual level but we're clearly talking about a communal sort of thing here. There's a big difference between you yourself wanting to be masculine and you wanting other men to be masculine under the threat that if they don't reach that ideal, a more masculine man is going to fukk them in the ass.

ill keep it simple though.

1.the young black fatherless male view of a real man is distorted due to his enviorment of the hood and the things he has seen first hand. the thug and drug dealers are getting the women, getting the fast money, going to jail and still getting praised as some mythical greek hero. meanwhile the school boy with a job at publix gets clowned on the daily and even the athletes seek validation from their hood peers to a certain extent.

2.just cause you are not conforming to what style a real man wears does not make you manly....just means u are a homosexual rebel or an outsider. you could also just have your own fashion sense like 3 stacks or pharrell.

3.being a super thug is also not the definition of a man. that's borderline comic book anti hero material. its just that some have type of mentality and that personality. if u tryna fukk men in the ass....u gay homie. u aint no alpha male...u just another lost nikka. also in the streets you have no choice but to be ruthless because your job/activities require that. just like a boxer has no choice but to be violent once he gets in the ring or you are gonna get slumped. also the sagging of the pants come from prison....which tells other inmates that you are open to get down the gay shyt. of course the streets don't have that meaning but if you look at it in retrospect...sagging(I mean showing your boxers/underwear not baggy pants) your pants is no better than wearing skinny jeans and man skirts.
