Top 7 expected minus Future I'd think that Rapsody or Vince Staples would be there instead of Future. I think Futures album lacked the impact and on that Migos had, so I'm surprised it's rated higher.
Outside of hiphop/rnb the list is very wack, it's like a list from people who only listen to hiphop and just wanted to squeeze in some other things to make it look like they know shyt about something else. They should keep it hiphop/rnb.

Isn't that my point though? Rocky himself never had those cosigns and has never gotten consistent radio play. So Carti being signed to Rocky means Carti is not gonna have radio play like that either. Those guys make strictly underground, actual hip hop records. Not urban pop garbage for radio like the rest on this list.

Rocky is one of the most WELL connected artists in hip hop. That's one of the strengths of his i credit him having over his peers. I wish...WISH...more artist would build networks around themselves like rocky has done for him and asap. That bwoy don't have no enemies and gets along with everyone. PLUS the fact that he's usually one of the first mainstream artists that links up with these upcoming rappers should let you know how many c/s and links he has behind the scenes

People love Rocky obviously because he made legendary music. But that's not the same thing as having a massive machine behind you and radio PDs in your pocket. Rocky's a semi-underground, semi-mainstream artist, breh. Always has been. Joey Badass was on air months ago talking about how Rocky gets damn near zero airplay despite how huge he is overseas. That doesn't sound like a connected guy, breh.
