Truth is these look like the same folks in charge at Complex and Pitchfork. Maybe a lil older.

These folks and corny ass Elliot Wilson and his crony stooge wanna be A&R who never did nothing with music but write for Don Diva, B DOT are who are in charge of documenting and TELLLING YOU what the culture is.

I'm not even laughing. Hurts my heart when I see artists cow tow to those lames man.....

Art you didn't mind them when they paraded your Anti-Nas propaganda

Folks these are the dudes Nas stood up and didn't cater to back in 94-96 and they were nothing at the time
but by time they got a little power, they made sure to remember and used their platform to shyt on artist who shaded them

Wiz Khalifa was not an industry plant. He was actually scooped up by Rostrum and had their backing from as far back as POTC. I remember seeing him live in 2005...he really didn't even blow up in Pittsburgh until around the time "Say Yea" came out. He had a City Paper cover, a couple of heads in the Pittsburgh hip-hop scene (mainly stemming from The Shadow Lounge) talking about him, so to say he didn't make a comeup in his own hometown and he's hated in Pittsburgh is really funny and untrue. We love Wiz son! But from 2005-2010 (when he really blew up with Kush & OJ) he had switched up his style numerous times. Went from street, to hipster, to stoner/weed/swag rapper. Basically with him, Rostrum gave him a foundation to work with and spread his music. He definitely was not a plant, but he had support nonetheless that allowed him to succeed. Mac Miller was indie and he used facebook, twitter, and youtube like Soulja Boy to gain a following. Eventually he got put on by Rostrum...and they have connects for sure. But that was only after he had a buzz going.

I'm from Pittsburgh...so I have met Wiz and Mac on numerous occasions. Nothing about their success was "planted".

lol. you dont have to be poppin to do local performances and be in the city paper. the fact that you said he got scooped up by some rich cats doesnt help your case. and i remember when he was signed to warner. then next thing you know, hes supposedly this big underground sensation according to the internet.

and i always hear that he doesnt get respect in pittsburgh. i dont know to what extent the disrespect goes, but your the 1st person i saw say that pittsburgh loves him. you didnt even use the word "like". you went all out to say that they "love" him. i dont know man. this is kinda fishy.

i didnt say anything about mac miller. i know nothing about the bul aside from the fact that hes a niche white rapper.
