I mainly buy runners and trainers these days but you should be able to walk in and buy a pair of Jordans at a sneaker store or cop online without going through a hassle, that's how it used to be back when I was in middle and high school.

The Aqua 8's and the 5's from the past weekend sat around for 3 days+. That's unheard of.

I'm chalking it up to the price jumping from $150-$175 to $225-$230. Resellers hurting and scared because they used to be able to buy at $150-$175 and WORST case sell at $225-230. Now? Who's gonna justify paying a markup on already expensive shoe and the resellers would be stuck with them on their hands and money tied up.
