But in a way I agree with them...IWW was better lyrically and Nas was just in another zone. Take it In Blood, I Gave You Power, Suspects, Shootouts...Nas wasn't human...

But nah, Illmatic is just on another level of classic. All the songs on Illmatic are straight up classics, and it;s virtually unskippable

Everytime I see or hear about a ho, I automatically think of Black Girl Lost and recite a couple lines in my head. If that ain't classic then I don't know what the fukk is.

Illmatic is the most replayable album in hip hop history.

Maybe it's the beats, maybe it's the rhymes or how Nas just flows over each track like butter, maybe it's all of above...but I can listen to almost any song on there 20 times in a row with ease. Can't say that about many albums including a few of Nas' other classics.

I just copped that vinyl over this review, that and nastradamus. I'll have every nas record released officially on vinyl.
