These gotta be one of the first groups that came and mixed the old school shyt with the new hardcore style. I always say that I would rather listen to CMW discography than NWAs

They were the funkier, smoother and more authentic version of NWA back then to me.

Back in the day he got his props. I knew a lot of nikkas who won't even big on West Coast music that fukked with Eiht/CMW's music because Eiht didn't sound like the typical West Coast rapper.

Eiht got his props back in the day, up until the whole Dollaz N Sense diss :huhldup:

I think they're very good but I would pick Wu-Tang or Geto Boys ahead of CMW. NWA are overrated but deserve the props for being pioneers in the rap game :salute:

eiht is one of the best story tellers in the game hands down..

eiht had no ammo for quik...he didnt know shyt about quik...he wasnt in the streets like quik...he was simply goin off nikkas from his set...puttin a battery in his back..

because 1..he was violatin..by havin dj mike t around...a known blood from inglewood...

2..mike t...the one who brought the red tape to eiht..

3...he was playin the red tape alot..hell snoop was a fan of quiks underground

...it only took one dumb ass nikka in tragniew to catch feelings..n flip the top of the tree to cmw see..line into somethin stupid...then make it seem like quik was dissin nwa as well..

and its funny..eiht still says when its brought up..it all started from quik dissin them n nwa...

n if quik was dissin nwa..why the fukk was eazy e...tryin 2 sign em..bringin quik n 2nd ii none..to the 2 legit to quit...set...on set 4 cb4...got hi-c a spot in the movie..to do gusto's rappin

then eazy turned around and gave quik's og's a deal at ruthless...

same nikkas that was in eihts ear to diss quik..turned on eiht..yrs later

quik pretty much told the truth about the nikkas that kill...
