Before that class, I didn't know what a computer was even capable of. Mind you, I was in like kindergarten or something when these were poppin.

I ended up getting a degree in computer networking but my favorite class was VB/C++, it just felt so natural to me. I had LOGO to thank for that.

I almost want to dive into programming to see if it just sticks but I don't want to put the time into it.

OMG, I feel your pain. I never had enough time to get past the part where you gotta do the white river rafting in your wagon near the end of the game. so treacherous, you'd lose damn near EVERYTHING.

I was in the smart class, so we got to use the computers longer. I beat Oregon Trail mad times as the banker. That river crossing was always amoment.

My goal was to not drown or catch dysentery before making it far enough to kill a bear that was considered a good session for me

Yeah, Oregon Trail pretty much turned into Bear Hunter at my school. Once the bears and deer stopped showing up it was time to play a different game.
