Do any of you guys have experience as far as creating websites/forum ive been interested in doing this for a minute and i would like to know what procedure one should take

hosting sites, etc

Depending on what type of shyt you're trying to create, DotNetNuke is an open-source platform you can use. It works with most server environments, has tons of modules that you can use to build the site, and is constantly updated with functionality improvements. Plus it's free.

There are lots of other tools you can use, so it really all depends on the approach you're trying to use.
