i never said that, coding is probably one of the most lucrative skills u can learn. im just saying the tech industry is pretty fukking racist

Racist aint even the word. I swear if I didn't have an African name (that ignorant people think to be something else), I`d probably not be where I`m at. I NEVER see Black people in Software Dev simply because if you arent Indian or Asian in General or White, these folks aint messing with you. If you are black you might can luck up if you have a name that appears to be "European", but when you interview you literally gotta be 100x better than everyone else.

California, America
depends on the State and if they have any consortium agreements with the neighboring colleges. Not all 4 year programs accept CC credits regardless of what your grades were.
that was a joke

I graduated with a CS degree.

I make more money than all of my friends and I'm not even a whole 6 months out of school. :obama:

However it is not for everyone I've seen a lot of people wash out because they were not disciplined, didn't work hard, and or bytched too much.

How is work?

Work is dope. As long as you get your work done it's pretty chill and no one bothers you.

It's one other black developer but for the most part I be minding my own business, I don't get caught up with office politics.

Yes, it's harder for a black man to get his foot in the door but unlike other careers you either know what you are doing are or you don't.

A typical day is sorta like this. Lol I don't work at Google though. But it is B list prestigious tech company in NYC.

What is a typical day like for a software engineer at Google? - Quora

That's a very tough question. You gonna make max dollars if you do well regardless. I'd say finance is an easier/more cushy path. Comp sci, expect to have 0 personal time. It's a lot of work and very demanding. You can't half ass it. I've seen really intelligent people simply not "get it".

Finance way easier path and in some cases the money is better. You also get cushy hours.

I got boys in both finance and Comp Sci making bank.

Engineering is laughable. Way too much work for the pay.

If you not going to a top 10 school in the world, it is mad pointless to get a finance degree, you will be selling insurance.

However an engineering, MIS, CS degree can be obtained anywhere that is credible and still have good job prospects.

And I switched from Finance...

My closest friend in the world graduated with a 2.1 Econ degree from a state school.

Is now making 500k a year in finance.

So ymmv.

I'm an engineer and I kinda regret I didn't do finance.

No soft cap on it like engineering and it's more interesting to me.

Same.

If I could go back I'd do pre-med or finance.
I eat, but those nikkas FEAST.

mathematician. You can apply to any job, even scientist with that. It is the most in demand degree in the world.

Finance you literally won't have a cap on how much you can make.

In saying that if you don't go to certain schools you won't even have access to those opportunities to make millions unless u hustle ur ass off.

Cs is cool but I think u constantly have to be learning and finance changes slightly but overall not too much changes.

Im in finance so I'm biased I say finance however where u get ur finance degree is of great importance

I graduated with econ with an applied math minor, but if i could go back, I would've done finance and math.

Computer sci is good if you love programming. But if you don't, you will be miserable
