It really depends on where do you plan to find a job , A computer science degree is really only valuable if you living in or near a major city like NY or San Fran . Im currently studying CS and i have met many people that make above 70k as soon as they graduate here in the city. If you google CS jobs here in NY , you'll find a lot of companies looking for senior developers and willing to pay them 6 figures. I dont know much about finance so cant help you there.

Breh you have to elaborate on that:ohhh:

Dude was a superior fukkup in college but never gave up on anything and was always persistent.

Started working at Amex out of college. Switched over to Schwab doing some... I dunno low level shyt. Back in 2011, dude applied for some big time job out in Chicago that he really had no shot at getting, but got it. When he got there he worked his ass off and got recruited by another wealth management firm and is getting paid out the ass now.

Basically, persistence pays off.

If you not going to a top 10 school in the world, it is mad pointless to get a finance degree, you will be selling insurance.

However an engineering, MIS, CS degree can be obtained anywhere that is credible and still have good job prospects.

And I switched from Finance...
^^ also if you want to go into finance all trading quant roles programming is a huge bonus, as trading electronic platform based.
