My nephew is one of these irresponsible pit owning jackasses. He barely feeds them and likes to put them in other people's yards because he can't legally keep them at his babymom's apartment (although he has a puppy also a pit secretly living with them) One of his other babymoms lost her apartment over harboring his dogs. They constantly get loose because their collars are old and the leashes are makeshift. Despite being broke and having 5 children he tried to breed puppies for sale and failed only managing to sell 3 to the same guy, one dying and having to give the rest away. These owners be the real problem.
Damn no disrespect but that whole situation is fukked

Hate to fan the flames, but this is a sad list. So many children gone too soon. Ironically, the primary demographic of the victims is similar to COVID-19, kids and elders.

List of fatal dog attacks in the United States - Wikipedia

Killed by one of her neighbor's four pit bulls, all of which had been seized and returned by animal control after attacking a child three months earlier. Pit bull owner Bobbie Jo Courson was friends with Wyno, who had come to her house to borrow some food; the tethered male pit bull broke loose and killed her by biting her in the head, arms and legs. Wyno was recovering from injuries sustained in a car accident at the time of her death.[125] 2 of the pit bulls were euthanized.

Emergency Medical Technicians found the victim with dog bites to the neck, head, and face, and could not revive her. Her twelve-year-old granddaughter had attempted to pull the dog off her. According to the owners (the victim's son and daughter-in-law), the victim had visited the house numerous times weekly and the dog had never shown aggression towards her. Later, a local online newspaper reported that the ownerts didn't report the dog's previous aggression. However, the Greenwood County Sheriff's Dept stated that the dog's past had been reported the night of the attack by both owners. The dog had a history of violence and had killed a Siberian Husky that it lived with. Prior to the attack on Todd, the owners had attempted to reduce the dog's aggression by neutering it.

Victim was found dead in his backyard, with one of his lower legs missing, bites all over his body, his pet dog dead, and three pit bull type dogs nearby.

Could you imagine if that was someone's child coming out the house?

And it happens all the time because peabrained, upright walking beasts want to live in the company of their fellow beasts in a residential neighborhood.

Glad these hellspawns are banned where i live at.

Dude was clearly waiting to draw on that dog, might have even baited...

Why else would he be standing there like that?

If you're going to shoot it, at least have the decency to put the damn thing out of its misery with one more to the head...
