How is this not a freestyle? What's wrong with it? :ld:

maybe im misinformed but i was under the impression a freestyle was off the top, this was clearly written and jerseys were piled up in sequence of order to their corresponding rhymes, nonetheless i like it, just not a freestyle

That's one of the biggest myths in hip hop...very few can go off the top and even in the 80's and 90's most of these guys were spitting writtens. Listen to Big Daddy Kane's definition of what a freestyle is...what Conceited did there was definitely a freestyle.

A freestyle is just a verse or rap about anything that doesn't go with a song, doesn't necessarily have to be off the top. As a matter of fact off the top rappers are few and far between nowadays, very few can do it well especially over a beat. Even then, the style is outdated since back in the early 90s and 80s all raps were ABC 123. Today's MCs are 10x more intricate so freestyling off the top doesn't really thoroughly demonstrate your lyrical ability
