CONCEITED VS B-MAGIC SMACK/ URL

Finally watched this. A few thoughts.

First, that was a good battle. Kudos to both.

Second, I think Conceited won. One of the better performances I've seen from him in a while and his first was the best round of the battle.

Also, crowds wait for any sign of a miss to boo Con. But it's whatever, it happens to a lot of the 'big name' dudes. Truthfully, I didn't think his 2nd was bad. I thought Magic started slow then finished strong, while Con started strong and tailed off at the end.

B Magic has some really clever punches and references that go over heads all the time.

But yeah, Con takes this for me.

I gave Con the first (though... if someone had uploaded a video of this with Con going first, I might be swayed. Magic was gassed in the beginning but he had a solid first, then Con stepped it up and got crazy love). Then Magic just did a little better in the next two rds... Magic 2-1. Most laughable moments of this battle were Magic referencing the ".. get the blicky then I ..." shyt like he read TBZ opinions on Con battles & the weird ass vibe from Con caramel bar LOL

Am I the only one who hates the way B Magic raps now? He's been rapping really slow. Also really dumbed his shyt down to accomodate the big stage. It worked because they were loving it

B-Magic's pacing has slowed right down ever since he battled Clips. I think all the Don Demarco's and crowd stoppages fukked him up

Breh. That's the truth though!!!! Magic slowed down his shyt so that he could remember all his bars whenever he has to stop and start. He's not the type of cat to spend 4-5 minutes of the battle just sayin it the fukk again like these other fools so this how he does it I guess.

Overall, I thought this battle was pretty good ... and that's before I spent a bunch of hours following along the Ether battle thread (missed out on the original/garage joint/when cassidy skyped dizaster to the finish the battle on day 3.

I like to dat alot wit battles, especially if there isn't any rebuttals, and honestly da 1st rd looks debatable if you watch Conceited's rd first(imo) but da 3rd looks more clear for Conceited if you watch his 3rd first(imo, weird but aye it is wat it is). All in all it was a good battle, 2-1 either way.

Con got that rounds 1 & 3 but his 2nd was some of the worst punchlines ive ever heard

Idk, the crowd was feeling alotta shyt that I thought was light and also the crowd wasn't feelin shyt that I thought was dope. If I take the crowd out this joint, like I normally do, I'll give it to Conceited 2-1(Rd1 & 3). I do think the 3rd is close tho.

Magic was spittin, but nikkaz was gassin a lot of his shyt in his 1st

I know Bmagic wants a Heartless rematch in 2015.

It's a bad match stylistically for him. Heartless has a higher ceiling & consistency.

Really close but I've got it 2-1 Con 1st and 3rd. B-Magic's strength is also his biggest weakness. He'll never get booed because his rapid fire delivery hides the garbage lines he has. The only time he stops is when he gets a good reaction. When you have a delivery like Con's, garbage bars are gonna stand out much more, especially when you're screwing your face up like you just spit some hot shyt. Magic gets away with dry spots cause people are just trying to keep up with what he's saying and by the time nikkas can even realize he spit a wack bar he gives them a good-dope bar to distract from it. It's a weakness though because he'll never really be able to convincingly beat a dude who has the complete package, is on their A-game and comes with crowd stealing haymakers. If you can control the room, be witty, and also come with bars you'll always have a good shot against Magic. The Ill Will battle is a great example of that. And Magic needs to work on his coin toss skills cause he'd be better off going second every battle
