I speak with a lot of elderly and middle age blacks in the hood and 90% of them have no life insurance policy to help their family in case of emergency..

This is a main staple of white wealth building in their communities

take that money and invest it....into the stock market or start a business....

YEP I ONLY GOT 200K ON MY POLICY. I THOUGHT I HAD IT HIGHER BUT I JUST NOTICED WHEN REDID ALL MY INSURANCE INFO THIS YEAR. GONNA BUMP IT UP TO 500K AFTER I GET MY PHYSICAL DONE. THEY REQUIRE IT TO GO HIGHER THAN 200K.

It just occurred to me brehs that all thru out history (especially modern history) from the illegal practices and monopolizations of early business to the prohibition era and start up of the mob that cacs have been getting wealth thru swindling and criminal activities.......



With that being said does it seem as if the reason cacs (the judicial system of the United States) give such harsh sentences to minorities (mainly blacks) for organized crime or any crime that results in top dollar Is because they themselves know the power of using alternate routes to get on top?

Are you talking about monopolies? That's how a lot of the carnegies balance and Rockefellers got their fortunes. However monopolies were outlaw years ago but are starting to make a comeback today (see Disney and Comcast).


As far as the mafia goes, well you know most of them got stiff prison sentences and went to jail specially after the 60s.
The thing that made the mafia so strong was that (1) they only allowed other Italians at the cord organization and a few Jews on peripheral of the mob.

(2) they already had a culture organize quasi Shadow government control in southern Italy and Sicily in place already and made an excellent transition to capitalist society that is America. Of course all these things happened over 80 years ago the mafia is nowhere near as strong as it once was.

Any other day of the week you would be preaching......but this ain't one of those days......I literally made the thread because of something I noticed and wondered if other brehs noticed it too........bread ain't a problem for me and mines as we have investments and businesses we're about to open up as well as the music studio we run.......we know what it takes to go get it and just how much of a risk to do just that so it ain't no pocket checking over here breh just a thread based on the facts of history........

Exactly......when I heard about what happening with amazon it reminded me about monopolies and while I know they been outlawed they like you said still created fortunes and I'm pretty sure there's loopholes.....

Keep this in mind also, it just comes down to black people don't have the complexion for the protection or rather the lease desire complexion. Because there have been powerful black mob bosses so to speak. Take the Jones Brothers for instance.

Loopholes ?? Being at the right place at the right time in history that's the main loophole. To having enough money and enough clout to Lobby politicians to look the other way no those are the main loopholes.

Organized crime have helped many communities flourish in this country. The irish mob helped irish hoods in the early 1900s and thrived till the 70's. Italian mafia helped italian communities to this day. Chinese triads helped the Chinese hoods such as chinatown nyc in the early 1900s (which was one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in nyc in the early 1900s and late 1800s) to this day. Jewish mob helped jews on the Lower east side in the early 1900s of nyc (probably the most dangerous neighborhood in manhattans history). And I could go on and on.


So yes organized crime does help communities flourish in a way. They also bring violence and extortion obviously as well. The question is, if black Americans did have a major organized crime group would they actually give money back to the community?

Organized crime has held these communities to a certain extent but it also hurt many of these communities. Keep in mind the biggest strength that a lot of these people had is that their skin is not black. And they are not descendants of chattel slavery.
