The other two publicly embraced gay shyt and women.

Concord starting from scratch leading with the gay angle killed it before it could even get started.

I'd argue that APEX/COD/FORTNITE fill a very specific niche.

How can these games be a specific niche if they are the majority popularity of the fps genre? Thats the opposite of a niche
