Racist neighbors and c00ns you have to see everyday on the elevator and make fake conversation to. Having to keep the noise levels down. Can't invite yo black friends because we all know what's gone happen:mjpls:Having to deal with HOA meetings and shyt telling you what you can and can't do.

I'll upkeep my house.:umad:
You must be talking about living out in the country because in a residential neighborhood you're going to be dealing with a lot of the same shyt.

Oh and not to mention older people and steps. HOA fees come with some houses too.

Each has advantages and disadvantages. I definitely prefer the house. Nothing like it

Not really. There's plenty of houses with no HOA, whereas condos you're most likely to deal with them. Neighbors were never a problem living in a house, unless you live real close, something like the city. You might have to keep the music down, but everything else is Gucci.

Some folks don't want to live in the burbs next to a bunch of old folks. Some want to be in the city center close to work and all the action. Commuting sucks dikk. And the views can't be beat.

Now if you have the bread for a weekend house out in the sticks then that's the ultimate plan.

Agree. I never really saw the appeal in them. If you can afford it why not get your own house and some privacy.

Imagine paying expensive money for a condo and yet you still have to deal with racist cacs not sharing elevators with you or security guards constantly wondering if you live there. Can’t pay that kinda money and deal with that pointless stress:hhh:

But they see you in in the development and they ready to call police anyhow so in that regard what’s the difference?

Don't get me wrong, them shyts be nice and views are crazy making you feel like a bachelor:myman:, but a grown man should want his own space. Your own garage, can blast music, barbeque as much as you want, big ass backyard to shoot guns. You ain't got to ride elevators and shyt running into other cacs and shyt or Indians with that loud ass cologne.

This a nice ass condo, but give me a house all day. I'll say I never lived in a nice condo so take what I say with a grain of salt. Will try it out some day, but houses are my preference

The downside with houses is the fact that they can be boring as hell and cookie cutter:scusthov:, not to mention you don't get that nice view. I would honestly stack up, get me a good architect and have my house built from the ground up:manny:
That condo is in a lackluster area.

I can't understand the idea of buying a got damn apartment.

The house I have is 70 years old. Its made of brick so unless we just leave all the doors and windows open and abandon it, seems like the actual structure could last indefinitely

But if you BUY an apartment in a building, who owns the building? Who gets to decide when to sell the entire building?

Just doesn't seem like a "condo" can last 100 years and be passed down to grandkids and such

It's weird to me how there are grown adults walking around who have never lived in a standalone house. Always apartments and condos where they share walls with neighbors either above and below or to the sides. Walking into buildings where is so shared spaces for access. Makes me wonder if or how affects them in any way.

Maybe I'm over thinking this since I value personal space so much. I never lived in an apartment or somewhere where I had to share a wall until I was 26. It felt weird at the time. No yard. No privacy outside of my apartment. And even inside I could hear the people above ne at times so I'm sure those below me could hear me too
