I thought so too, but they made it seem like the cops shot him as sson as they saw a gun, which makes me thnk he was at least brown, and possibly an Islamic terrorist, which they try to take alive for questioning. I figured they would have tried to talk down a white guy, like, "c'mon man, it's not worth it, just put the gun down" which is why cops get shot by white men so often.
