I like reigns, think he is entertaining and better in the ring than cena. But the corny, wacky, smirking, jokester thing just does not work. Make him what he is. A huge, intimidating bad ass. Like we saw last night, that will keep him over. Throw the suffering succotash and tater tots in the bushes.

Reigns has grown on me a lot - he's improved in the ring and actually does have better ring psyhcology now than he has ever had. He's getting a lot better.

What's fukking him up was basically booking. They were trying to make him like Cena, with the cookie cutter-jokey promos and "stacking odds against him". Then they went full Bryan and tried to make him an underdog which was even worse. He's a big, mean guy who can beat the shyt out of you. Maintain that. Don't have him talking and smiling too much n shyt, just have him be moody as fukk. If you're gonna book him strong, don't half-ass it - give him the badass edge he needs. Stop making him an underdog and definitely don't try to make him Cena. What Roman did last night should just be a start, a beginning. They need to run with this, otherwise this is just gonna be another false dawn and he'll go back to getting half reactions.

Nah I been watching 25 years. I remember when people just liked wrestlers and didn't count "pops" as an indication of whether a wrestler was "over".

Matter of fact, I remember when fans didn't use words like "over" and "smark" and just enjoyed the show.

This nikka isn't even getting Godfather level pops. He's not even getting Hacksaw Jim Duggan levels of fan support. nikkas screaming "We Want Cena" and checking Bleacher Report during his matches. I been watching wrestling long enough to know son just ain't that good. Mind you I like his look and wish he was dope. But he ain't... YET.

He's not good as CM Punk.
He's not good as Mick Foley.

When things are shoved down your throat, people will accept because humans are sheep. This guy is swaggerless, can't talk and he lacks psychology to his matches. He's wack RIGHT NOW.

He's in the first years of his career, so you can't expect him to be good. That's like giving "Stunning" Steve, Flex Kavana or "Los Gringos" Eddie G, the WWE strap. It took them YEARS, to put it all together. 3 years in, Bret Hart wasn't ready to be champ, neither is this guy. He's not fukking over, just like Austin wasn't immediately over after the 3:16 promo. It took months later for it all to click.

I was at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn, I took a chick with me who never even watched wrestling, Everybody was fukking "over"... She still text me and ask me when we going again. That's cause they all had an actual organic connection to the crowd. This dude is fukking Sam Worthington, Jai Courtney status. They gon shove him till he fits, but this company is trash because your only as good as your weakest link.
