Floyd prob got in his ear.

"You out here talkin ish about me, but look at how much money you're making compared to what I get. You're the best in your sport, I'm the best in my sport...but you gettin hosed at the bank."

All Connor could do was :francis:

lol. save all that I need leeway to train, cause what's going to happen to future fight events if you win? You finna need leeway for those too? The media obligations comes with the stardom and top billing at major events
Exactly

He's blaming him tapping out to the fact that he was doing promo instead of preparing:mjlol:

wow this guy is idiot. he pretty much built his career and made his name doing promos, press conferences, interviews and all that shyt. and they're not asking him to do anything out of the ordinary. the promotion game is part of the fight business, if ANYONE knows that, it's conor.

dude had no problem doing promo stuff when he was winning..., in fact, he LOVED having a mic up in his face, acting crazy and talking all kinds of shyt. but now all of a sudden he's throwing temper tantrums and making retirement tweets when the ufc expects him to do all the regular pre-fight shyt that made him famous. :comeon:

being the big superstar comes with obligations.

he's not the only fighter that has issues with these promo runs but he's one of the few that can make a statement like that and I want to see that fight with both of them fully prepared

They both have to do the promo. It's wouldn't have been an advantage for either guy in the "time to prepare" deportment

And Floyd was kept away from both Cotto and manny because of Bob Arum. Fights happen late all the time, they werent the first or the last. And them fighting so lte is the reason both Cotto and manny got career high pay days

This gross lie is not going by untouched.

Cotto was kept any from floyd by arum. Cotto was in the crowd for the floyd Gatti fight and when that happened as floyd was out the door, arum was not going to allow floyd to give cotto his first loss as he was leaving.

Drug testing aside. Floyd is older than Manny. Bob arum, lies and all, does know boxing. He knows that no fighter that does not have an authoritative jab and reach advantage will ever beat floyd on his worst day. Manny never had the tools to compete.

It has always seemed to me that UFC asks for way too much promotion out of the fighters, in terms of media events they have to show up to. I would think it'd be hard to stay focused and with the right mindset.

Curious to see how this goes.

MMcgregor just ether'd white in 3 lines

Hmm.....:jbhmm: Makes sense to me.:manny: The man wants to be 100 percent focused on his fight with little to no distraction. He knows what is in stake here and does not want to lose to Diaz again so he's putting all his energy into making sure he's getting maximum effort out of his training. I think he underestimated Diaz last time and after the fight was like, holy sh!t! I need to go back to drawing board and reshape some things. I don't have a problem with this at all as it's obviously not about the money for him. It's about him going into the ring mentally and physically prepared to win this time around.
