That's the same thing people were saying after GSP left and Anderson got knocked out. People really don't understand how good the UFC is at creating stars. You just need them to push the button and the hype will start. Dana White even acknowledges their more of a marketing company than anything else. Thats one good thing they've done. Yeah I can see what he meant by the take down defense issue but Conor has viciously ko'd his last three opponents. Even when he was getting dominated by Mendes all it took was the right shyt then Conor capitalized and took the victory? Luck? Nope Connor is precise with his strikes and Aldo has never faced anyone with a style like Conor's.

You say he won that fight due to his precise strikes, I say it was due to Mendes gassing. (Due to the fact he took the fight on a few weeks notice.)
