I don't like Consequence because he showed gay sex in this video. I'm not against homosexuality at all. But when I'm checking some New York-esque music video I'm not down with the surprise gay scene at the end.

Honestly, shyt like this and the Drake diss track makes me see why he was best utilized exactly where he was during his time working with Kanye on his albums and that’s as a ghost writer.

Kanye used to be someone on a lyrical level who knew what’s gonna work, what to keep in, what to amend and just straight up have a better basis for song concepts and ideas. This nikka just good for the cadence and rhyming.

This video came across as very well done. It was directed well and the most New York-esque I've seen in years.

I even thought the main character was dope, but they HAD to put that "shock" ending which to me ruined the whole video. The video was hard to follow for me as well - if the main character was supposed to be Talib - it didn't look like him at all.

And I'm not homophobic - but I don't want to see that in hip hop videos as a surprise end shock tactic.

I was never a fan of Consequence before, and this made me not want to check for him going forward.
