I think he comes across as a good person. Knows his stuff, is pretty genuine. There are actual mainstream artists that don't write, cant perform, can't freestyle whatsoever and are not even slightly musical. Lets remember that when we start calling people behind the scenes weed carriers.
Exactly dude writes for ya favorite rappers. Far from a weed carrier compared to n1ggas who need to be carrying weed.

Dude stays overstating his importance. To this day, he can't even name a song or even a verse he wrote for Kanye. When asked (back when he was in his feelings about Ye), the best example he could come up with was the "Will Smith" line in 'Champion', and the Kanye haters are "B-b-but he's responsible for all of Kanye's hits". fukk outta here.

has this interview come out yet?

It's a little annoying at the beginning because his son is playing with toy wrestlers in the background but you get use to it. But this one is way more in depth and they go over the history of Tribe. I think it's because Juan Ep guys are much bigger fans of the Tribe, De La, Black Sheep style. I don't think Combat Jack is as familiar with them like that. He's more of a Kane, KRS, PE. He leaned more towards the more hardcore/political side of rap.

you can see why him and kanye get along/had issues. ultimately, cons gets a lot of hate, but you cant dispute he was a teenager on a tribe album and had a verse on the best song on that album and he is directly a part of great kanye west songs...and he got beyonce credits.

so, the biggest knock on him is he has an overblown ego?

...yeah, he's a rapper, yall.
