I bet none of Bone's grandkids is on welfare though.
True cuz the group members themselves haven't been homeless and broke... :umad:

This post doesn't need to turn into a Bone v Wu-Tang or East v West thing, that's pointless. The moral of the story here is that Ghostface is/was crazy & unstable. No he's not the toughest human being on planet earth (anyone can take an L anyway), but as far as legendary rappers go he's one of the wildest nyggas.

As an older head on here I can say that Fat Joe really had it like that. He wasn't getting high and wilding out like a lot of the other people you mentioned, he moved like a real general. The type of respect & fear that 50 was getting, he was getting that in the early to mid 90's. A lot of rappers thought he was wack at first, but the reality was he was surrounded by a bunch of wild Ricans & Blacks who would fight, slice or shoot for him. He could go anywhere in the city and be good. Of course things changed because he changed + he couldn't feed everyone, but that's how it was.

Yeah i know.

Definitely dont know about bolded tho. Ive never ever heard that about 50 until i logged on the internet :heh:. Its mostly image & his Preme story that may have helped, but
that was really overexaggerated like a mf. Rap is entertainment, if Preme really wanted 50 he'd be gone. Iovine paying millions for security detail & glorifying the image - like all the execs do, cuz artists
are investments - is another thing. Then add Lighty & Violators being his battery.

I'm talking moreso 50 after the fame. There was a period of time where a lot of the NYC rap dudes were tip-toeing around him because they didn't want that problem. It's just like how rappers were shook of Fat Joe, even though they didn't like him.
Maybe I wasn't clear, but I'm not really talking about whether some real street gangsters could touch them or not. I'm just saying other rappers and rap industry types were shook of them... as well as your regular shyt talking hood dudes.

Gotcha.

But yeah you always hear dat about Joe. He himself on Juan Epstein a couple of years ago also described his relationship with Showbiz off Showbiz & AG. He
alluded dat Showbiz definitely isnt one to be fukked with. Had him sound like he was more thoro than Joe himself. But i've never ever heard anyone else confirm
or deny it. U know anything about Show?

A few years ago at a Wu show here in Philly, Capone came down with some of his squad. One of Pone's mans was up in their set all in the front, kinda of foolin around. he had a mic and everything. After about a minute of it, RZA came and gripped dude up by the collar, damn enar had dude standing on his tip-toes. Pone ran over said some words to his man, apologized to RZA and his mans disappeared off the stage. Even as 30 other ninjas got on.

I've told this story a couple times here over the years. It was around 2000 Method Man and Red Man blackout tour. Me and my guy drive up to a friends school in Michigan cause she got us tickets to see the tour. The other acts on the tour ? Capadonna and Ghostface. We were both wu stans at the time so we were geeked to see the show. This is right after supreme clientele dropped so the whole scene was lit. Show ends and Meth and Red make a b-line for their van to hit the hotel right out front, about 20 females piling in with them, we trying to get autographs tho so we ask them if they need weed in town to get they attention, of course they stopped chopped, signed our stuff, it up and gave us the hotel location.

We're geeked so then we dip around behind the auditorium to try and catch ghost and cap. Their tour bus is parked there and my guy (crazy) decides he's going to bang on the door and see if anyone opens up. It's just the two of us out there looking goofy kinda in the dark then all of a sudden someone grabs the homie from behind. I'm like :ooh:, and turn like wtf !! To see Cappadonna snatch my boy up off the ground by his Wu-wear vest.
I panic and make a move to go intervene and as I turn Ghostface was behind me looking like he's finna knock my teeth out. :lupe:

We both immediately start copping pleas, and I show him the CD I wanted signed and my guy shows him the autographs on his vest and the two of them relaxed and .started laughing. Said they didn't know if we were trying to break into the tour bus , or rob them. They ended up being chill and talked to us for a few mins and we got our autographs. Those were some big dudes, I can easily see Ghost tossing a dude off the stage, and I will always have the story of us almost accidentally catching a fade form Cap and Ghost.:whew:

What a nice story :myman:
