perhaps I'm just an uncle tom buck dancing c00n.... but I don't find anything in his argument racist. At best he may have generalized. Besides that he's right, blacks have been totally destroyed by the break up of the family and drugs. Slavery couldn't do it nor Jim Crow. And if were honestly going to discuss race this needs to be pointed out. I believe the break up of the black family is one of America's greatest tragedies and everyone seems to ignore its societal ramifications. Within the last 4-5 decades our people have been steadily on the decline. The level of degradation and decadence within black America is unprecedented.
And yes, perhaps President Obama should have addressed the ongoing crisis of black America. The ramifications of our decline has sent shock waves throughout American society and is essentially the underlying root of all current debate concerning race in this country. I really don't think black Americans ourselves truly understand how tragic our plight is. We've become accustomed to the chaos to such an extent where we'll lash out at individuals who dare mention it (i.e. Ben Stein).
The only real solution is for us become honest with ourselves and what must be done to change the tide. I believe our community is a powder key that will eventually explode into something catastrophic or result in something positive for the country and our people.
